NATO has engaged Ukrainian planes to fight the coronavirus
The Ukrainian Antonov An-124 cargo plane Ruslan participates in the NATO-sponsored Strategic Airlift International Solution (SALIS) program and has shipped half a hundred tons of medical supplies to Slovakia to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is noted that Ruslan arrived at Bratislava Airport with 48 tons of medical supplies to combat the effects of the pandemic, and was unloaded by the Slovak military.
It is also known that on the night of March 25, Ruslan delivered a cargo of medical equipment and coronavirus tests from the Czech Republic to China. In addition, the aircraft will deliver medical care to Romania.
Special procedures have been reported to ensure the safety of Ukrainian aircraft. Direct contact with ground crews is not permitted.
It should be noted that the SALIS program provides NATO countries with a strategic air transport capability. It has 9 Alliance allies: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
