Ukraine increased its production of wines and alcoholic beverages
Production of wines and low alcohol beverages has increased in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the State Statistics.
Thus, wine production (with an actual alcohol concentration of no more than 15%) increased by 4.5% per year. In 2019, Ukrainian winemakers produced 6 million 424 thousand dol. product, while in 2018 - 6 million 147 thousand.
The production of low-alcoholic beverages (with a strength of 1.2% to 8.5%) for the year increased by 18% to 7 million 440 thousand dollars
In addition, the production of wines with an alcohol concentration of more than 15% (Portway, Madera etc.) increased by 19.1%, to 741 thousand dol.
Instead, the production of vermouths and sparkling wines fell by 10.2% and 17.9%, respectively.
At the same time Kiev took first place in terms of their consumption.
