The first large batch of ambulances arrived in Odessa
The first batch of ambulances arrived in Odessa for the Odessa Regional Center of Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine, the delivery of which was delayed due to a corruption conflict.
As reported by the governor of Odessa region Maxim Kutsyy, only 45 units were received. The region will receive 85 more in the near future.
The governor urged contractors to "stop speculation and move to a law-abiding construct," and also proposed the Odessa Regional State Administration as a negotiating ground.
According to him, the tender for the purchase of cars was announced in September. The terms of the competition were agreed, and the state administration fulfilled all financial obligations.
Earlier, we wrote that UAH 338.7 million was allocated for the purchase of cars. Tenders were held, contracts were signed, but it turned out that Governor Maxim Kutsyi's people decided to earn money to replace the complete set of these cars with cheaper ones than indicated in the tender conditions - while maintaining the price.
