The number of Internet users in Ukraine increased by 8% to 22.96 million, which is 71% of the total population of the country.
It is reported by the National Industrial Portal with reference to the research of the Internet Association of Ukraine.
Internet penetration in Ukraine has increased by 8 percentage points over the past year.
Most network users are 25 to 44 year olds.
Two-thirds (66%) of Internet users use a smartphone to access the Internet, 40% use a home laptop, 36% use a stationary home computer, and 5% use a desktop computer at work.
High-income users are 100% online, and low-income users are 39%.
The survey was conducted in August-September 2019 by interviewing the respondent's place of residence.
