The first batch of Zaporizhzhya wind power plant was delivered to Berdyansk

The ship Josef delivered to the Berdyansk Seaport nine sets of equipment for a total of 45 wind turbine towers.

According to the press service of the State Enterprise Berdyansk Sea Commercial Port (BMTP),

Maximum weight of one element is 68 tons, length is 30 meters. Oversized cargo is handled by two port cranes that work together.

In total, 27 sets of wind turbines - blades, towers, hubs, gondolas - will be reloaded through the Berdyansk port. Soon two more ships with equipment kits - Palmerton - will arrive in Berdyansk.

During this year, the Berdyansk port has already overloaded 52 sets of wind turbines of the first and second stages of the Primorsky WPP.

The construction of the Zaporozhye wind farm is carried out by EuroCape Ukraine. As part of the construction of the first phase of the 98 MW wind farm, the investor will invest € 150 million. In the future, the plant will increase up to 500 MW.
