The Rada at first reading approved the state budget for 2020

The Verkhovna Rada approved in first reading the draft state budget for 2020. 255 MPs voted in favor of the draft resolution on the conclusions and proposals for the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020.

Council Speaker Dmitry Razumkov noted that more than 2,000 amendments were received to the committee, and about 800 were accepted during the review.

By November 2, Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk promised to submit the document for a second reading, taking into account the proposals of the people's deputies. “You are currently considering bills on de-offshore and fight against oligarchs. We are on the right track, but do not forget that the country has been ruined for years, ”the Prime Minister said and called for support for the project.

The main indicators of the draft state budget 2020:

    State Budget Revenue for 2020 (with transfers) - 1, 079 trillion UAH, including the General Fund - 962.7 billion UAH;
    Expenditures - 1,170 trillion UAH;

Other costs include:

    National security and defense - UAH 245.8 billion;
    For the development of road infrastructure - UAH 74.4 billion, including the State Road Fund - UAH 69.7 billion;
    Education - UAH 136.4 billion;
    Health care - UAH 108 billion;
    The subsidy - 45 billion UAH.

According to the draft state budget for next year, it is proposed to set a minimum wage at 4 723 UAH. According to the document, the subsistence minimum will increase from UAH 2 027 to UAH 2 189. The minimum pension for the next year should increase from 1 638 UAH to 1 769 UAH.
