Qatar is interested in recycling in Ukraine

State Energy Efficiency Chairman Serhiy Savchuk met with representatives of Qatari company Nebras Power to discuss the investment potential of clean energy, energy efficiency and energy waste disposal in Ukraine.

Nebras Power specializes in energy generation projects, including renewables, worldwide. Over the last 5 years, the company has implemented energy projects with a total capacity of about 4.8 GW in countries such as the Netherlands, Jordan, Indonesia and others.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the prospect of development of the production of liquid biofuels, biogas, as well as waste energy. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to elaborate priority areas for cooperation between the two countries, as well as potential projects in these areas.
