An-178 transport plane for Peru is almost 40% ready
An assessment of the readiness and insurance value of five unfinished An-178 aircraft of the Antonov State Enterprise has been published.

In particular, it is noted that the market value of the property (five An-178 transport aircraft with serial numbers 006, 007, 008, 009 and 010) as of January 1, 2020 is 143,849,897.31 hryvnias.

It is added that the degree of readiness of the An-178 aircraft under serial number 006, which is assembled at the enterprise for delivery to the customer (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Peru) as of June 1 this year is 39.4%.

It is added that the degree of readiness of the An-178 aircraft under serial number 006, which is assembled at the enterprise for delivery to the customer (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Peru) as of June 1 this year is 39.4%.
The readiness of four other work in progress, including 4 An-178 aircraft (serial №№ 007 - 010) ranges from 30.6% to 13.4%. It is noted that at present it is not planned to complete them until the conclusion of new supply contracts.
It will be recalled that the production of the An-178 multi-purpose transport aircraft (SN 006) takes place within the framework of a contract between Spetstechnoexport and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Peru (concluded in November 2019).

Also ready are the central part of the wing of the aircraft, its left and right cantilever parts and tail. In addition, engine pylons have been prepared for installation on the fuselage, and two turbojet double-circuit engines D − 436−148FM have been ordered from Motor Sich JSC.

Under the terms of the contract, the finished An-178 must be delivered to the customer in the person of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Peru within 24 months from the date of first payment.
