The Chinese CRRC showed the cars it will make for the Kharkiv metro
The Chinese machine-building corporation CRRC posted a visualization of the cars it plans to supply to the Kharkiv metro on its Twitter page.
With reference to the CTS.
Commenting on the images of the cars, the Chinese manufacturer notes that "CRRC Tangshan has officially won the tender for the supply of rolling stock for the Kharkiv metro." The company must supply 40 cars, spare parts, tools and provide additional services for the metro system of the Ukrainian city.
We will remind, in the beginning of June it became known that CRRC Tangshan won the open international tender for supply of 8 warehouses of the subway intended for the lines of the Kharkiv subway. The agreement must be completed within 35 months. The size of the ordered cars is 2675 mm in width and 3650 mm in height. The length of each train of five such cars is 96.18 m. The warehouses are designed for a track of 1520 mm and a maximum speed of 80 km / h. Trains will not have partitions between cars.
Later, the Kryukivka Car-Building Plant stated that it would appeal the decision of the tender committee, which chose a Chinese company as a supplier. KVBZ also sent a complaint to the headquarters of the European Investment Bank, which is lending to this agreement.
