Antonov purchased Israeli intercom systems for the An-178

 The state-owned Antonov has signed an agreement with the Israeli company Orbit Communication Systems Ltd. for the supply of three sets of intercommunication systems AMS, PACIS.

As reported, the value of the deal was $ 448 thousand dollars (UAH 12.6 million).

The relevant contract №AN-178/20 was concluded on October 13, 2020, as evidenced by the report published on November 6 on the public procurement web portal.

Orbit offers highly reliable and cost-effective communication solutions for use in the most extreme conditions.

Orbit's equipment is installed on airliners and jet fighters, cruise ships and naval ships, offshore platforms and unmanned aerial vehicles - a total of more than 9,000 systems.

We will remind, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine prepared the project of purchase of three An-178.

In the future, the number of An-178 aircraft in the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be increased.

It will also be recalled that Russia is trying to break the contract for the supply of the An-178 aircraft to the Antonov Ministry of Internal Affairs.
