Athlon-Avia presented presentation of Kamikaze drone "Grim"
Research and Production Enterprise "Athlon-Avia" showed the presentation of the kamikaze drone ST-35 "Thunder", the testing of which was announced in September 2020.
They posted the video on their Facebook page. with reference to UMP.
Compared to traditional artillery, the use of high-precision barrage ammunition ensures the execution of the fire task with maximum efficiency and minimum associated losses, in particular among the civilian population and infrastructure.
Video presentation:
BpAK ST-35 "Thunder" is a means of high-precision hitting targets. feature of the application of this complex is the ability to hit targets in closed positions and the use of different types of combat units.
It is developed with application of modern technological decisions for achievement of high operational indicators and level of radar, visual and acoustic invisibility. Many years of experience in the development, production and maintenance of the life cycle of unmanned aerial systems for military use in military conflicts were used in the creation of the complex.
ST-35 "Thunder" can use a wide range of warheads (high-explosive, thermobaric, incendiary, cumulative) to hit particularly important targets and critical infrastructure, including Radar, EW complexes, elements of communication and control systems, ammunition depots and fuel, etc. The aerodynamic scheme with an X-shaped layout provides high accuracy characteristics when aimed at a target for its defeat on a vertical trajectory.

The main TTX of barrage ammunition "Thunder" ST-35
Cruising speed: 120 km / h
Flight duration: 60 minutes
Takeoff weight: 10 kg
Weight of the warhead: 3.5 kg
Types of combat unit:
- thermobaric
- cumulative
- high-explosive debris
The probability of hitting the target: 0.95
Effective working height: 800-1200 m
Calculation: 3 people
A typical wearable set of BpAK for missions consists of 3 ammunition, which is carried in backpacks, weighing a total of ~ 15 + kg each.
To increase the duration and range of the flight, the complex includes a multicopter designed for vertical launch of barrage ammunition and subsequent retransmission of control signals and payload data.
