The Ministry of Defense buys 1,200 field tents
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine buys tents worth UAH 77.2 million from the private company Sivertex LLC under a negotiated procedure.

According to the agreements of October 13 № 286/3/20/226 and №286 / 3/20/227 to December 15 this year, 600 tents of unified sanitary and barracks USB should be set up at four joint centers of support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine -56/2005 at a cost of 71,071.98 hryvnias (including VAT) and 600 tents of unified sanitary and technical UST-56/2015 at a cost of 57,654.96 hryvnias (including VAT).
The owner of the technical conditions for the fabrics from which the tents for the military are to be made is Sivertex LLC, which has given permission for their use to the Customer and bidders.

At the same time, the way they are registered does not allow other participants to take part in the bidding, Pryluky Garment Factory PJSC believes.
The complaint lodged by the company states that, in breach of the law, the technical terms contain references to a specific brand of fabric, without any alternative as an equivalent.
According to the complainant, this makes it impossible for potential bidders to purchase tent materials.
Tents USB-56 and UST-56 were adopted in 1956 and in Ukraine were slightly improved.
USB-56 can accommodate up to 80 people if you install bunk beds, UST-56 up to 40 people. Cast iron stoves (potbelly stoves) are used for heating tents in winter.
