In Zolotonosha started production of masks and will soon start to sew surgical gowns

For two weeks the teachers of gold-mining, educators and social workers have become a seamstress. So the city government has solved the problem with the lack of a mask protector for employees of various local structures and ordinary citizens.

Employees of the Zolotonsky Center for Social Assistance sew protective masks. According to the director of the institution, in two weeks made 700 masks. The material is provided by the city authorities and benefactors.

Employees of the Zolotonsky Center for Social Assistance make preparations for masks. The segments are in several layers. Six workers of the social care center work on masks. One of them, Elena Omelchuk, says that during quarantine they have a regular working day from eight to seventeen:

    “We have never encountered this before, thank God. But if need be, we help anyway. It is not difficult to do, if you understand that it is necessary, then we are not afraid of any work. We make enough blanks to speed up work. We have to help. ”

Marina Golovko brought her own sewing machine from home. Woman stitching mask masks:

    “It was better to work with gauze. And with this stuff, it's hard. Some kind of "not obedient" - does not add up. But we try to do good - sew exactly. ”

With the help of masks, the social assistance center will provide its workers, doctors and public utilities, - says Lyudmila Nelina:

     “Social workers also work with the most at-risk - the most senior retirees. That is why we were initially provided with gauze at the local budget. Only at their own will, without coercion, who from the team members expressed a desire to join this project. "

According to Lyudmila Nelina, the workers of the center will start sewing surgical gowns and respirators next week.
