7 visa-free EU countries that can be reached by train from Ukraine
There are trains from Ukraine to seven European countries. It's all about ticket prices, length of travel, departure time and arrival at Espresso.
On June 11, Ukraine's visa-free regime with Europe started. Now you do not need to think about a visa, but you can bring a brand new biometric passport and go to Europe.
With lowcosters everything is clear: relatively cheap and fast. But Ukraine also has a rail connection with Europe. There are now 7 European countries to travel by train from Ukraine: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Austria.
Ukrzaliznytsia also stated that a route Kiev - Vienna is possible in the future. By the way, you can buy tickets for trains in international destinations only through a special ticket office at the station.
There are many benefits to traveling by train. For example, tickets always have the same fare that is independent of the euro. That is, there is no difference whether you buy a ticket for a month or for 3 days - the price will remain the same.
You can also carry more luggage, as opposed to air travel. And of course, if you have aerophobia, you will be much more comfortable to travel by train.
Cons: The length of the trip increases, the cost of a train ticket is often more expensive than the price of a plane ticket purchased in advance.
