One of the projects of the Nikolaev shipbuilders from MDEM company "Marine Design Engineering Mykolayiv" was the work of the multifunctional pusher-pusher SHOALBUSTER ShB 3514.

Project SHOALBUSTER ShB 3514 is a multifunctional tugboat for the execution of towing and mooring operations, maintenance and maintenance of wind power plants. The length of the tow is 35.55 meters and the tonnage is 499 tons. The speed of the ship is 13 knots. The ship's crew consists of 12 crew members and 8 guests.

The Shoalbuster 3514 tug is the first diesel-electric Damen Shoalbuster in the class, and today is one of the largest and most powerful vessels in the class DP2, IMO TIER 3. The open stern makes the ship suitable for cable laying, and the powerful crane is capable of lifting a wide range of cargo. and equipment.

The project was carried out with a minimum package of documentation for manufacturing at the factory. The delivery included a complete 3D model of the vessel, so the plant was able to generate all the necessary information on the city, which reduced the ship's production cycle.
