The world's largest An-225 "Mriya" transport aircraft and An-124 "Ruslan" planes will operate at least 11 flights in the near future with the aim of delivering personal protective equipment and medical equipment from Asia to the United States.

Said Ukrainian Pravda.

The first flight is scheduled to operate from Shanghai to Columbus, Ohio. The cargo will consist mainly of medical masks, protective clothing and disinfectants.

According to the head of Ukroboronprom Aivaras Abromavicius, some of the cargoes may also include ventilators.

All Antonov cargo aircraft will be used in US deliveries between mid-April and mid-May.
