Construction of the largest barge in the history of Ukraine started in Odesa Region (photo)

The construction of the barge at the request of the Svitlovodsk River Terminal will be carried out by the Ismail companies DUNAYSUDNOSERVICE and Dunayududoremont.

The bookmark of the keel of a non-self-propelled barge will take place in April. Completion of works and delivery to the customer are planned for the second half of 2020. The D-6000 project barge is of the River-Sea type and is intended for the carriage of grain cargo. It will be equipped with hatches and appropriate mechanisms. The capacity of the barge will be 6000 tons.

Having two holds with a total volume of 8000 cubic meters will allow you to carry two different consignments at a time. The construction of this vessel, weighing 1280 tons, will take 1 230 tons of steel. The length of the barge will be 127.6 m, width - 16.30 m, draft - 3.80 m.
