The operators of the gas transmission system of Ukraine have been included in the European network of operators

GTS of Ukraine LLC became a member-observer of the European Network of Gas Transmission System Operators ENTSOG. The corresponding decision was unanimously approved at yesterday's meeting of the organization's General Assembly.

Working with ENTSOG will allow the Ukrainian company to gain access to the main European Coordination Center in the gas transport sector, as well as to enable employees to participate in highly specialized training events and to interact with colleagues from other countries.

    For several months now, we have been actively cooperating with ENTSOG, in particular on harmonization of legislation and procedures, as well as on openness and security of supply - we send daily data on the operation of our GTS to a platform of transparency. I believe that in the future our cooperation will only deepen for the development of the gas market of Europe and Ukraine, as its integral part, - commented the event OGTSU Director General Sergey Makogon.

In addition, ENTSOG provides GTS Operator Centers with tools for operational communication, monitoring and joint response in crisis and emergency situations.
