A new defense company UADEFENSE has been established in Ukraine. About the goals, competitors and results of the company - in an interview with UADEFENSE Director Dmitry Lyulin.

In February 2020, UADEFENSE became the official participant of the Ukrainian defense sector in the field of development and integration of defense solutions.
Its activities will be a logical continuation of the work of the defense department of Everest, which over the years has become an important player in the market of military technology in the field of automation, information and communications.
- Dmitry, please tell us, what is the reason for the emergence of a new company?
"The creation of UADEFENSE is directly related to the defense department of Everest, which we established in 2015, given the current needs of the Ukrainian military in high-quality secure communications.
Then, thanks to the experience and professional competence of the company's specialists, we mastered the direction of development and production of military telecommunication equipment.
Today, the work of our defense unit has reached a new level, we have developed a number of quality solutions and products.
In the end, it became clear that our potential had already gone beyond the activities of a single unit, so it was decided to allocate the defense direction of Everest in a separate independent business. That's how a new company, UADEFENSE, appeared in Ukraine. "
- What products does UADEFENSE offer to its customer?
“Undoubtedly, the company will remain a developer of automated tactical command and control systems that increase the combat capability of units on the battlefield.
On-board system Hermes-C3
This primarily applies to the Hermes-C3 on-board information system. This platform is designed to work at the tactical level from fighter to brigade commander and integrates with systems at the operational and strategic levels.
In the summer of 2019, the system began its testing at landfills, where it passed a series of tests on military equipment and showed significant positive results.
We will also support the development of our products in the field of cybersecurity, work towards the creation of universal robotic combat and reconnaissance platforms, as well as engineering and transport robots.
- What result does the company plan to get in the coming years?
“First of all, we strive to provide the Ukrainian military with high-tech products in a short period of time, so we invest a lot of effort and experience of our specialists in solutions that are developed and constantly modernized for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In general, I do not see any obstacles to UADEFENSE becoming a leading Ukrainian company and competitive on the world market.
I am convinced that our country has a high intellectual potential, and thanks to technology and people we will be able to achieve significant results, make samples for export and become a leader in the sale of defense products to other countries.
