Indonesian PT-76 tanks will be armed with Ukrainian missiles
The PT-76 light floating tank, which Ukraine will upgrade for Indonesia, will be armed with Ukrainian missiles.
As it became known to Defense Express, the Cockerill Mk 3M-A2 gun of the Belgian company CMI Defense installed on the 90-mm tank will use an anti-tank guided missile Falarick 90 from the State Committee for the Control of Air Beams.
The Ukrainian side already has an agreement with Indonesia on the purchase of these missiles. Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian companies will upgrade PT-76 tanks for Indonesia and other countries in the Asian region according to a project prepared by the state company Ukrspetsexport.
As part of the modernization, the tank will receive a number of changes: a new engine, transmission, active protection system "Zaslon-L", digital multifunctional aiming and control system "Synthesis", a modern navigation system "Basalt", Harris radios and other improvements.
