The Cabinet of Ministers has developed the concept of a national air carrier
The government has developed a concept for the future state-owned Ukrainian air carrier, the creation of which was initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“To date, the relevant ministry has developed a concept for the creation of a national air carrier with the involvement of Antonov and a number of airports, with the involvement of all possible stakeholders. The business plan, the need for funds for the purchase and their sources, as well as various opportunities for cooperation with international partners are calculated. The calculations are underway, "said the Prime Minister.
He added that the creation of a state-owned air carrier is an "absolutely realistic task."
In his opinion, during the crisis, the airline industry is an opportunity for Ukraine to create a state air carrier that will provide a certain level of quality, cost of services and stability.
“It is, of course, not a cheap pleasure, but it will create a lot of jobs, because related industries are also starting to create additional jobs. After all, if we place an order for the first six aircraft "Antonov" - it already revives the company, which employs 14 thousand people, and we keep these jobs. Plus, three to five thousand jobs are being created in related industries, ”added Shmygal.
