A non-self-propelled vessel was launched at the Nibulon Shipyard


At the NIBULON shipbuilding and shiprepair plant, the penultimate open-plan vessel of the non-self-propelled platform, which was planned by the current production program, was launched.

with reference to the press service of the enterprise.

The vessel is 75 meters long and has a carrying capacity of 1,500 tons, designed to carry out transportation of general and bulk cargo in sea areas and on inland waterways of Ukraine. The properties of the vessel allow to form different barge-towing formations with other units of the fleet: tug and one non-self-propelled vessel, tug and two non-self-propelled vessels located in series or parallel, tug and four non-self-propelled vessels arranged according to scheme 2 + 2. About 700 tons of sheet and profile metal, 200 tons of sheet metal and profile for the manufacture of mechanical parts, 4.5 km of cable, 30 tons of welding materials and more than 12,800 liters of paints and varnishes were used for the construction of the vessel.

Two non-self-propelled vessels of this B1500 project, which have already been launched this year, are currently actively working as intended on inland waterways. As of the beginning of summer, NBL-39 and NBL-40 have already transported more than 10 thousand tons of various cargoes, including reinforced concrete piles, sand, rubble, which were necessary for the construction of the Zelenodolskaya branch (Maryanske village, Dnipropetrovsk region). Sixteen ships are currently working on the Nibulon shipyard.
