Kernel invests almost 4.5 billion hryvnias in bioenergy

At present, Kernel oil extraction plants use steam produced as energy from boilers powered by sunflower husk biomass. Thus, at Kropyvnytskyi Oil Extraction Plant, a turbine for the production of "green" electricity with a capacity of up to 7.5 MW is operating at full capacity. The company promises that by 2021 in this format will earn 6 more plants with a total generation of more than 90 MW.
The most modern oil extraction plant in Ukraine will be Starokostiantynivsky SEZ in Khmelnytsky region, which is currently under construction. The company will install
turbogenerator up to 20 MW.
