A drone with an explosive device was found near a Ukrainian An-124 Ruslan aircraft at Leipzig Airport.
Flights were suspended until 01:55 a.m. due to the incident, and one of the cargo planes went on a second go-around. After that, it collided with an unknown object about six kilometers from the airport and later landed in Hanover with a damaged nose.
The southern runway was left closed for investigative actions.
Update: A Ukrainian plane at an airfield in Leipzig, Germany, remained unharmed after a drone with explosives was discovered nearby.
No one was injured, the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this to journalists.
