The wooden Holy Presentation Church in the Kherson region burned down as a result of a Russian strike.

According to "Most", the church in Beryslav was almost the only religious building in the deoccupied part of the Kherson region that has not yet suffered serious damage from shelling.

The church was built in 1726 from oak without a single metal nail - all structures were connected with wooden dowels. It is a unique monument of Zaporozhye church architecture, and in 1785, Poltava Cossacks transported the church along the Dnieper in a disassembled form to Beryslav.
