World boxing legend Mike Tyson - in a traditional Ukrainian vyshyvanka!

The famous American appeared in an embroidered vyshyvanka at the boxing stars parade in New York, dedicated to 29-year-old Bruce Carrington. Zab Judah and Shannon Briggs were also among the guests of the event. 

The Ukrainian theme is of special importance to Tyson. In his childhood, he was raised by a Ukrainian woman, Camilla Ewald, who was born in the Ternopil region. She was the common-law wife of the legendary trainer Cas D'Amato.

In 1981, Cas D'Amato and Camilla Ewald officially adopted Mike Tyson. It was under their care that he began his great journey in boxing, which led him to the status of the absolute world heavyweight champion. 🏆

🇺🇦 Today, Tyson once again demonstrated a special connection with Ukraine
