Protests against violence against Ukrainians are taking place in 22 Polish cities.

The rallies were organized by the Polish public movement Committee for the Defense of Democracy (KOD). Events are planned, in particular, in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Rzeszów, Lublin, Łódź, Szczecin, Białystok and Kielce. 

Stickers with the inscription “Do not be indifferent” are being distributed there. KOD calls on participants to place them on the doors of shops, institutions and on cars as a sign for Ukrainians that in these places “they can count on help, feel safe and receive support”. 

▪️On Friday, during the action “My Poland does not hit, does not insult, does not harass” in Warsaw, the organizers submitted a petition signed by more than 11 thousand people to the Office of the Prime Minister of Poland and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.  In it, they demand decisive action against violent attacks, in particular against Ukrainians and representatives of other minorities.
