Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk expressed his gratitude to UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin for his support for Ukraine and his unwavering position on the war.

“Alexander Čeferin, thank you for your support for Ukraine, for your clear position and for continuing to stand with Ukraine. It matters,” the champion wrote.

Usyk and Čeferin met in Croatia during the Plasma Youth Sports Games in Split. The large-scale sporting event brought together famous representatives of football and other sports.

I especially value people who don’t stand on the sidelines.
