Germany will allocate €10 million to preserve the primeval beech forests of the Carpathians.

German Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider, together with a delegation, visited the Skole Beskids National Park and got acquainted with its work during the war.

The funds will be used to create a conservation fund to support Ukraine's natural heritage, including UNESCO World Heritage sites.

▪️Also, 200 m² of the premises of the 150-year-old palace were restored in Skole and a tourist space was opened there with information about the routes, nature and cultural heritage of the Skole Beskids.
