Ukrainian grandmaster Vasyl Ivanchuk will be inducted into the World Chess Hall of Fame.

Vasyl Ivanchuk is a four-time winner of the Chess Olympiads (in 1988 and 1990 as part of the USSR national team, and in 2004 and 2010 with the Ukrainian national team). 

In addition, the chess player holds the titles of European champion (2004), world blitz champion (2007) and world rapid champion (2016).
