Almost 2 billion hryvnias will be spent on the development of domestic avionics

 

 Development of domestic avionics for airplanes and helicopters will cost Ukraine almost 2 billion hryvnias (1769 million) over the next 10 years with reference to UMP.

This is stated in the State Targeted Scientific and Technical Program for the Development of the Aviation Industry for 2021-2030, published by the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

Under the program, funding was given to the sub-direction "Aviation Systems".

Financing will be provided by taxpayers in the amount of UAH 1,099.9 million and from other sources (by enterprises) - UAH 669.1 million.

The sub-direction is divided into four parts for development and implementation:

    aerobatic navigation equipment for aircraft and helicopters
    electronic display systems for airplanes and helicopters
    radio complex for airplanes and helicopters
    onboard systems of aircraft and helicopters
    on-board electronic equipment of new aircraft and helicopters

Financing of the sub-direction "Aviation Systems" under the state program for 10 years

Aerobatic and navigation equipment for aircraft and helicopters will receive funding in the amount of UAH 389.1 million, of which the share of state funds will be UAH 242.1 million, and other sources - UAH 147 million.

Presentation of samples of domestic samples of aeronautical instruments (all work will go on three positions) should take place in 2029.

Electronic indication systems for aircraft and helicopters under the state program require funds in the amount of 391 million hryvnias.

UAH 243 million is financing from the state budget, and another UAH 148 million is other sources (funds of enterprises).

The works will be funded for four types, two completed in 2027, one in 2028, and the rest in 2029.

The radio complex for airplanes and helicopters is planned to be completed in 2026, and the cost of funds is 161.6 million hryvnias. UAH 100.4 million is taxpayers' money, and another UAH 61.2 million is other sources.

Airborne systems of aircraft and helicopters will be financed by 6 positions for a total of 171.7 million hryvnias (106.7 million hryvnias - state funding and another 65 million - other sources). Completion calendar - 2 systems in 2025, one - in 2026, and another 3 in 2028.

Development for the integration (integration) of onboard electronic equipment of new aircraft and helicopters requires 655.5 million hryvnias. The state will pay 406.7 million hryvnias for this, 247.9 million hryvnias will be financed from other sources.

In 2027, domestic on-board electronic equipment should be presented.

It will also be recalled that under this Program, Ukraine will spend almost 4 billion hryvnias on the subcontract "Domestic Helicopters" for 10 years, the exact amount of funding is 3871 million hryvnias.
