Ukraine is ahead of Romania, Russia and India in the world ranking of innovativeness
The World Intellectual Property Organization has published its annual Global Innovation Index survey, on the basis of which analysts at the World Bank have ranked the world's most innovative countries. Visual Capitalist has compiled this data into an infographic.
When compiling the rating, more than 80 indicators of innovativeness were taken into account, including research and development (R&D), access to venture capital and technical production.
Ukraine occupies a prominent place on the overall map of innovation. Our country is included in the category of countries with lower middle income, nevertheless, it occupies 45th place in the overall rating of innovativeness, ahead of Romania, Russia, and India.
The top 3 rankings include Switzerland, Sweden and the United States.
In its category, Ukraine is in the top 3 and ranks second in innovation. Among the countries with lower middle income, Vietnam is in first place, and India is in third after Ukraine.
A total of 131 countries were analyzed in the report.
