Ukraine has agreed with the EU to expand the agreement on passenger bus transport
On February 11, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy signed a protocol to the Interbus Agreement on the extension of its validity to regular passenger bus transportation during the 7th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council in Brussels.

The Protocol to the Interbus Agreement introduces the same rules for international scheduled and international special scheduled passenger services in the European space.
"The protocol signed today, supplementing the Agreement on International Non-scheduled Passenger Transport by Interbus Buses, will allow Ukraine to improve the conditions of passenger bus transportation, adopt and implement key European experience and compete freely with the best carriers in the future," Krikliy said.
The signing of the Protocol will also contribute to the opening of the bus market for Ukraine of the EU and the member states of the Interbus Agreement - Turkey, Moldova, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro.
It is noted that the Interbus Agreement was approved on 30 June 2001 in Brussels and signed by all countries of the European Union, as well as Moldova, Turkey, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia. Ukraine joined the Interbus Agreement in 2012.
