Ukraine has established the production of aviation fuel tanks

 

 Kyiv private enterprise "Spets-Com-Service" has started production of aviation fuel tanks. Two refuelers have already been handed over to the customer and are involved in refueling Airbus H125 helicopters in several parts of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with reference to the Defense Express.

The special aviation refueler was developed by the specialists of PE “Spets-Kom-Service” taking into account all the peculiarities of aircraft maintenance. The tanker was built on the basis of the chassis of an MAZ car with a 4x4 wheel formula. The capacity of the tank is 5,000 liters. According to the developers, the design of the tank and all its auxiliary elements are made taking into account the requirements of regulatory documentation and equipment of such products.

The tanker tank is divided into three sections, the body is a complex structure, the inner part of which is made of stainless steel AISI 304. The front and rear walls of the tank are made of steel of the same brand, but thicker. For efficient and safe maintenance of the tank there are necks with lids, ladders and folding handrails. The tank is equipped with fuel level sensors, breathing valves to relieve excess pressure. Behind the tank is mounted a technological compartment with the necessary technological equipment installed in it. The new aviation fuel tanker is equipped with German-made equipment for refueling and filtering fuel.

Private enterprise "Spets-Com-Service" already produces special cars and other special equipment for the needs of a wide range of consumers, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and others. It will be recalled that currently the main medium-capacity tanker of the Ukrainian military aviation is the TZA-7.5, which was manufactured during the Soviet era at the Tikhoretsk Chemical Engineering Plant and has an aviation fuel capacity of 7.5 m³. In Ukraine, there have already been developments to replace these models, in particular one of them - the airfield fuel tanker APZ-10-6322, on the chassis of the car KrAZ-6322, developed by Azovmash.
