By the end of the year, the Ukrainian fleet will receive the Bayraktar and Neptune complexes
Rear Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa has revealed some details about UAV strikes and missile systems for the Ukrainian Navy.
The interview with the commander of the Ukrainian Navy was published by the Ukrinform news agency with reference to the UMP.
On December 14, Ukraine and Turkey signed agreements on technology transfer and production of ADA-type corvettes and Bayraktar strike unmanned aerial vehicles in the interests of the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the Rear Admiral, the set of unmanned complex is planned to be received by the end of 2021.

Bayraktar is not just an unmanned aerial vehicle, it is a system that includes control stations, ground-based data terminal complexes, etc., which provides an infrastructure component.
The Navy will receive not just unmanned aerial vehicles, but a full-fledged system that will be used to perform a number of critical tasks.
Among the tasks are the coverage of the surface situation in the Azov and Black Sea operational zones, the issuance of targets, the implementation of fire damage to the enemy, both at sea and on land.
Also by the end of the year, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a divisional set of the RK-360MC Neptune coastal missile system.

The volume of the state order "Neptune" was carried out taking into account the existing threats to ensure the destruction of critical objects (targets) of the enemy in the Azov and Black Seas.
For the implementation of the mentioned projects the training of personnel is planned and organized, namely:
preparation of calculations of Bayraktar strike unmanned aerial vehicles on the basis of the Baykar test and training center in Turkey;
training of personnel of the coastal missile division, both at the manufacturer and on the basis of the Odessa Maritime Academy, where on February 1, 2021 the training course began.
Equally important in this matter is the preparation of bases for future complexes, and this work began last year.
"All this together will strengthen the combat capabilities of our national fleet in order to increase security in the Black and Azov Seas," - said Alexei Neizhpapa.
