Interpipe is building a wheelset shop for the United States and the European Union

 

 Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe intends to put into operation a new additional plant for the production of wheelsets in the second half of this year, with reference to the CTS, in accordance with previously planned plans.

    “The launch of an additional shop for the production of wheelsets is planned for the second half of this year. Now the equipment is being installed on the site, that is, we can say that the project is in full swing, - said Morozov.

According to him, the company finances all projects at its own expense.

It should be noted that in September it became known that Interpipe had started construction of an additional shop for the production of wheelsets. The main markets for the products that will be produced there will be the EU and the United States.

    “If in Ukraine or in Russia a pair of wheels is assembled on the spot, in Europe and America they buy wheels instead of wheels. We want to increase the production of this product, ”Denis Morozov explained during the announcement of the project.

In addition, Interpipe has invested $ 15 million in a new finish line that will allow the company to increase the production of railway wheels for the passenger segment.
