An oil transshipment terminal has resumed operation in the port of Reni after reconstruction

In the seaport of Reni, after reconstruction, the oil transshipment terminal resumes operation.

with reference to the CTS.

"In addition to the possibility of complex transshipment of light oil products, the terminal is equipped with its own boiler room for steam production, which allows for additional transshipment of dark oil products," said the representative of Terra Capital Limited in Ukraine Denis Moskalenko.

It is noted that the terminal consists of a tank farm with a total volume of 12.2 thousand cubic meters, a road and railway overpass, as well as a berth capable of receiving vessels with a deadweight of 5-7 thousand tons.

The company said that in 2019 the terminal received a license to store petroleum products, and in May 2020, after being equipped with level gauges and flow meters, it received the status of an excise warehouse.

"Thus, we fully meet the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine, and modern equipment allows full control of the volume at the entrance and exit of the oil terminal," - added the head of the facility.

The terminal is focused primarily on the southern region of Ukraine and Moldova.

"The terminal is located in the customs control zone, so our infrastructure will be interesting for buyers, whose supply routes involve the use of both sea and river fleet," - concluded Moskalenko.
