Exports of Ukrainian aircraft engines in March amounted to almost $ 42 million
In March of this year, the Zaporozhye Machine-Building Design Bureau "Progress" named after Academician OI Ivchenko », PJSC« Motor Sich »and other enterprises of Ukraine exported Ukrainian engines for almost 42 million dollars.
According to the National Industrial Portal.
In total, Ukrainian companies supplied turbojet, turboprop and turbojet engines to China and Turkey in March 2020 for a total of $ 38.71 million. At least 9 AI-322 engines have been exported to China. These engines are installed on the Hongdu L-15 combat training aircraft.
Another $ 3 million worth of engines were imported from Ukraine by other countries, including the Russian Federation.
Earlier we wrote that Zaporizhzhya Progress has already delivered 12 AI-450 engines to Turkey for Turkish Akinci drones.
