Serial production of "Vilkha-M" will begin in 2021
DKKB Luch, which is part of Ukroboronprom, predicts that serial production of new corrected missiles "Vilkha" will begin next year.

Such information was provided by representatives of the Ukrainian defense company in response to a request from Donbass Realia journalists. CB Luch also stated that the issue of financing the Alder-M program has been resolved.
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has allocated funds for the above-mentioned tests, as well as settlements with the State Enterprise“ Luch ”and its co-executors for the work performed. After conducting these tests, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine must put the Vilkha-M products into service with the Armed Forces as soon as possible. It is projected that its serial production will begin in 2021, ”the request reads.
The design bureau expects that the tests of the new adjusted missile with a range of up to 120 km will be completed in the second quarter of this year.
“In April, the second successful missile tests took place. In the 2nd quarter of 2020, the final stage of testing is planned, ”the defense company said.
Accuracy of MLRS "Vilkha-M"
The final tests of the shore version of the RK-360MC Neptune missile system are planned for the same period.
In the second quarter of 2020, the final stage of testing the Neptune complex is being held. It is projected that in 2020 the complex will be adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its serial production will begin, ”the design bureau said.
At the same time, the representatives of Luch did not confirm the allocation of funds from the Ministry of Defense for this program, as was the case with the response regarding the financing of Vilkha-M.
The issue of financing the Neptune program in 2020 is decided by the customer in a planned manner. The main indicators of DOZ are the funds for financing these works, ”the Luch Design Bureau said.
