International biathlon stadium project in Trostyanets

Ukraine may have a modern biathlon complex with the opportunity to host the stages of the World Cup, as well as the World Championship.

We present to your attention the project of the future arena in Trostyanets, Sumy region. They plan to implement the plan by 2025.

The project was developed by the NESKUCHNE complex, a well-known Czech design bureau. It was worked on by the best specialists who once developed a biathlon complex in the town of Nowe Miesto na Moravi, where the 2013 World Championships took place, as well as the annual Biathlon World Cup competitions.

According to the mayor Yuri Bova, for the successful implementation of the project by 2025 it is necessary to allocate about 20 million hryvnias. The whole complex of buildings and tracks, stadiums, the shooting range, the snow storage point and other buildings will be built.

It should be noted that today there is a biathlon training base in Trostyanets. A new biathlon complex will be built on its basis.
