Ukreximbank will provide Ukravtodor with 5.8 billion hryvnias for road construction

The State Agency of Motor Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) and Ukreximbank have signed an agreement to attract the first tranche of a loan in the amount of 5.78 billion hryvnias for the construction and repair of roads.

In total, Ukreximbank plans to allocate UAH 19.3 billion to Ukravtodor. The funds will be allocated through the issuance of bonds by Ukravtodor, which will be redeemed by the bank. The guarantor of the loan will be the state, ie the debt on this loan will be part of the public debt.

    "Despite the quarantine measures in our country, the most important thing is that the state works together with the banking sector and construction companies to build kilometers of roads and" stitch "our country," commented President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The rate on Ukravtodor bonds will be 10.5% per annum. Earlier, the government expected the rate to be 12.5% ​​per annum.
