The Irish embassy will open in Ukraine by the end of the year

It is noted that the foreign ministers paid special attention to Ukrainian-Irish bilateral cooperation. Thus, Covenne confirmed his intention to open the Irish Embassy in Ukraine by the end of 2020.
"The opening of the Irish Embassy in Kyiv is an important milestone in our relations. We also expect an Irish business mission to arrive in Ukraine by the end of the year. We need to develop trade quickly and efficiently and attract Irish investments to Ukraine," Kuleba said.
He also noted Ireland's consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, in particular within international organizations.
Ministers exchanged information on overcoming the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures taken by the governments of both countries to return to daily life.
As you know, in 2019 the volume of trade in goods and services between Ukraine and Ireland reached 715.6 million dollars (+ 34.3%).
