Gold will be mined in Odesa region
The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine plans to sell the right to extract gold in the north of Odessa region. Gold-bearing areas are offered for development for a period of 5 years.

In the first section, "Kvitkova", as it has an area of 669 hectares, 25 wells were drilled. There, experts predict the content of 0.1-14.7 grams of gold per ton of ore. In the second section, "May", about 3.4 grams of gold per ton. The area of this site is smaller - 252 hectares, and the number of wells - 177.
According to the head of Gosgeonadr Roman Opimakh, Ukraine has estimated reserves of about 3,000 tons of gold. However, the problem with its product is that the development of gold deposits is capital intensive.
