Next year, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a mobile radar "Mineral-U" developed and manufactured by SE "Research Institute of Radar Systems" Quantum Radar ".

This was stated by the director of the State Enterprise "Research Institute of Radar Systems" Quantum Radar "Eduard Kasapov. with reference to UMP.

The purpose of the station - detection of surface targets at a distance with their subsequent identification and targeting the means of destruction.

The development of the Mineral-U radar has been underway since December 2019, when an additional agreement to the 2018 state contract was signed.

In the future, the radar station "Mineral-U" may be included in the missile system RK-360MC "Neptune".

The complex of surface-to-air cruise missiles with anti-ship missiles is designed to destroy warships in simple and complex meteorological conditions at any time of day and year, with active fire and electronic countermeasures of the enemy.
