 Ukrzaliznytsia signs first agreement on admission of private locomotives on public tracks

 Ukrzaliznytsia, as part of the implementation of a pilot project on the admission of private locomotives to work on certain routes on public railways, has signed the first agreement on participation in the project.
with reference to the CTS.

It is noted that the contract with the first partner - LLC "Ukrainian Locomotive Company" was signed on December 16, 2020.

    "The company was admitted to the project by orders of the Ministry of Infrastructure № 540 and № 791, which also determined the sections of public railways where the company will begin the project," the company said.

Ukrainian locomotive company will work on the following sections: Stryy - Ivano-Frankivsk; Ternopil - Shepetivka; Shepetivka - Kalynivka 1; Starokostiantyniv 2 - Grechany; Starokostiantyniv 1 - Grechany; Starokostiantyniv 2 - Kalynivka 1; Starokostiantyniv 1 - Kalynivka 1; Husiatyn - Yarmolyntsi - Grechany; Kamyanets-Podilsky - Humentsi - Balyn - Dunaivtsi - Yarmolyntsi - Grechany; Sosnivka - Korosten; Sokal - Klepariv.

    "Based on the experience of implementing this agreement, a decision will be made on further implementation of the project of admission of private locomotives to work on Ukrainian railway tracks," UZ added.
