 Ukravtodor plans to develop new projects for bus stops and related infrastructure and invites those who want to join their development.

It is noted that Ukravtodor, as part of measures to upgrade the road network and systemic development of roadside infrastructure, plans to introduce new standard projects for bus stops and related infrastructure on public roads of national importance of various categories.

    “What do we expect to get in the proposals: visualization of waiting areas (bus stop, lighting, fencing, sidewalks, etc.) compliance of the proposed design solutions with regulatory documents. You also need a schematic layout of such objects, a brief description of the proposed design solutions with advantages over conventional design solutions. In addition, the development should provide an approximate cost of materials and work, as well as examples of the use of design solutions in other countries, "- said in a statement" Ukravtodor ".

Based on this information, Ukravtodor will prepare a technical task and announce a competition for the development of optimal design and engineering solutions for their further use.

It is also reported that now when designing bus stops and related infrastructure on highways, calculations of simple bus stop designs are still used (prefabricated concrete pavilions for 10 people - series 503.05-11-85 and similar car pavilions made of metal, corrugated board and glass).

    Such designs are the most popular, they are quick to manufacture and install, have a reasonable price, are easy to install and maintain, have "anti-vandal properties" and are commonly used. This approach has its advantages, but the design and functionality are outdated, and, in addition, there is no unified approach to projects that would take into account the needs and characteristics of each location, ”Ukravtodor added.
