Six Ukrainian airports will receive state funding for development and development

 

 

 State funding for the development of regional airports in 2021 will amount to 2.4 billion hryvnias. This was announced by Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy.

    "UAH 2.4 billion from the state budget will go to the development of regional airports in 2021," the minister said.

Krikliy also noted that 1.4 billion hryvnias will be spent on the construction of a new airfield in the Dnieper. Another UAH 1 billion will be spent on the reconstruction of the runway in Vinnytsia and Kherson, as well as on the modernization of the taxiway and platform at the Rivne airport. In addition, UAH 30 million will be allocated for the design of a new airport in Transcarpathia.

    "Our strategy envisages the modernization of 5-6 airports annually, depending on the amount of funding," Crickley added.

According to the Minister, plans for 2022 include Chernivtsi, Sumy, and Poltava Cherkasy.

It is noted that in the airport of Odessa for 2021 the III turn of construction - the main steering track is planned. Next year, 500 million hryvnias must be allocated for work at the airport. The total amount of work is planned in the amount of 932.4 million hryvnias. It is reported that the sources of funding for work at the airport have not yet been identified.

According to the IMU, the stage of preparatory works worth UAH 12 million is currently being completed at the Dnipro airport. In the area where the new runway will be, geodetic surveys have been carried out, trenches have been developed for power grids and special communications, communications have been laid. Such measures were necessary to ensure that the existing strip continued to operate throughout the construction period. The environmental impact assessment procedure will also be completed by the end of the year. In parallel, a new terminal complex with a peak capacity of up to 1,000 passengers per hour is being built. It is noted that the modernization of the airport will require about 6.2 billion hryvnia, of which 1.4 billion - this year.

At the airports of Kherson and Vinnytsia, the runway needs to be reconstructed, for which 320 million and 604 million hryvnias are planned, respectively. The total cost of the works at the Kherson airport is UAH 320 million, and at the Vinnytsia airport - UAH 1.57 billion.

At the airport in Rivne for 2021 provides for the reconstruction of the steering wheel and platform. It is also necessary to install lighting and radio equipment, bring the perimeters of the fence in accordance with the requirements of aviation safety. Next year, UAH 75.7 million should be allocated for work at the airport. The total amount of work is planned in the amount of UAH 397.1 million.

The first stage of designing a new airport has started in Transcarpathia. At this time, aerial photography and geodetic research have been completed, as well as possible directions for the location of runways in the villages of Seredne and Mukachevo. UAH 29.3 million out of the total amount of UAH 30 million should be allocated for work at the airport next year.
