Ukrainian invention Mosquito Control helps get rid of mosquitoes

 

 Ukrainian invention Mosquito Control wins Sikorsky Challenge 2020 startup competition thanks to developed technology that creates "mosquito-free territory"

 with reference to channel 5.

The device in the form of a black metal cabinet 1.2 meters high mimics a human insect. It "breathes", smells and radiates heat, so the insects fly to the device that treats them with insecticide. The invention was created by a team of Ukrainian engineers and entrepreneurs.

The inventors hope that the robot will protect people from mosquitoes effectively and with minimal side effects for the environment. The problem of mosquitoes is very common in regions with tropical climates, because there insects not only cause discomfort, but also spread various diseases.
