Installation of solar panels requires the use of special technological solutions for their mounting. Fixing systems must be selected in each individual case, according to certain operating conditions. Consider the main types of such structures and options for their use.
Components of an assembly set

Mostly solar panels for home use are installed on the roofs of houses. To ensure their fixation, the use of special structures and devices is required. The mounting system includes the following elements:

    grounding clips and clamps;
    profile. Aluminum structures are usually used. They are not subject to corrosion and are light, therefore do not demand special conditions of care and do not provide additional loading on a roof;
    edge, middle clamps;
    bolts and nuts.

The number of components is calculated individually, taking into account the number of panels, the area of ​​their installation.

If you are going to buy mounts for the installation of solar panels, it is important to consider first of all the method of their installation: ground or roof. In the first case the following systems of fixing of panels are used:

    wooden frame. This is an easy-to-manufacture structure that must be installed at an angle (30 °). The horizontal beam should be placed at a height of more than 1 m, so that when it snows in the winter, the panels are not in the snow;
    framework from a tree and metal. Made of wooden beams and aluminum racks. These designs are suitable for installation in height no more than 2 vertical panels;
    framework from pipes. This is the most reliable type of construction. The pipe frame can be installed on concrete piles to ensure reliability. Pipes are made of aluminum or zinc - these metals are resistant to corrosion. It is possible to fasten on such frameworks no more than 3 panels.

If you plan to fix the panels on the roof, you should also take into account the type of roofing material. Different coatings differ in terms of endurance to loads and the method of installation of the supporting frame:

    metal. If the material is laid with the formation of a butt seam, the installation of batteries is possible without violating the integrity of the coating;
    tiling. Without compromising the integrity of the battery coating can be installed at the joints of the sections;
    slate. This is a fragile material, so the installation of solar panel systems on such roofs is not recommended. The fact is that during drilling cracks are formed on the surface of the slate, which will significantly reduce the service life of the roof;
    membrane roof. Installation of solar panels on such coatings is similar to the principle of installation on a tiled roof, ie you can do without additional holes.

In addition to the type of material and method of installation, it is also important to consider parameters such as the angle of inclination and the moment of dimming.
