Ukrzaliznytsia increases section speed of freight trains to 36 km / h

 Ukrzaliznytsia has achieved an increase in the precinct speed of freight trains and today it is 36 km / h.

with reference to the CTS.

Ukrzaliznytsia states that they intend to improve this figure to maximize the volume of rail freight.

The company noted that "high section speed allows to increase the turnover of freight cars" and to transport more goods with less rolling stock. This will improve the operational characteristics of Ukrzaliznytsia's rolling stock and attract more cargo.

Earlier in UZ informed that in November the turnover of cars decreased to 7.9 days, compared to 10.3 around the clock in November 2019.
